Looking for a quick and healthy way to spoil your furry friend? These Frozen Blueberry Kefir Paws are the perfect solution! With just two simple ingredients and no need for measuring, you can prepare a batch of these refreshing snacks in no time. Plus, they’re a great way to keep your pup cool on warm days or rehydrate them after their daily walks.
What You’ll Need:
Frozen blueberries
Blueberry kefir
Silicone ice cube trays (paw-shaped molds work perfectly!)
All you'll need for this recipe is kefir (blueberry-flavored if you can find it!), frozen blueberries, and a silicone ice cube tray (paw-shaped if possible).
How to Make the Treats:
Step 1 - Place the Frozen Blueberries
Start by placing a few frozen blueberries into each compartment of your silicone ice cube trays.
It doesn’t really matter how many blueberries you add to each compartment. Bigger berries will take up the whole compartment while smaller berries could fit several in it. Just try to keep them below the top of the mold.
Step 2 - Pour the Kefir
Next, pour blueberry kefir over the blueberries, making sure to cover them completely.
Step 3 - Freeze the Treats
Place the filled trays into your freezer.
Step 4 - Wait for 30 Minutes
Let the treats freeze for at least 40 minutes or until they’re solid.
Step 5 - Serve and Enjoy!
Once frozen, pop the treats out of the silicone trays and give your pup a delicious and healthy snack!
Why Your Dog Will Love These Treats:
Blueberries are packed with antioxidants, fiber, and vitamins C and K, making them a nutritious treat for your dog.
Kefir is a probiotic-rich drink that supports digestive health and can be beneficial for your dog’s gut.
